I work at a academic institute that routinely hosts presentations by visiting researchers. When they are in Japanese, I usually just skip them, however, a topic I want to learn of is being presented on next month, and I want to solve this problem now.
I may be able to ask the institute if they can provide software resources if really necessary, but hope to avoid doing so. My ideal setup will be sitting in with my headphones on, hearing a more-or-less live translation.
