Osaka-Tokyo 10 day trip itinerary with friends

Hey all, me and my friends are currently planning a 10 day trip to Osaka and Tokyo. About 5 days in Osaka, and 4 days in Tokyo (Last day is an early flight, so not much we can do).

We have a plan in mind for what we want to do, and where to visit for day trips. Main interest of our friend group is the food, anime culture, Pokemon, and the various temples, sights and usual tourist spots.

I have made a rough itinerary below, but it is still quite flexible. Hope to get some advice on if it is too crammed, too free, or just right.

At Osaka we plan to stay around Namba or Umeda.
At Tokyo, we plan to stay around Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza or Asakusa.

It just depends on which deals are best.

Day 1
– Arriving at Kansai airport around 13:50
– Check in at our hotel, and rest a bit before walking around until dinner.
– The plan js to take it easy, just stroll around Dotonburi or maybe Shinsekai, or whatever we find.

Day 2
– Half day trip to Kyoto
– Likely will take the train, but not sure of the timing just yet.
– Will spend the rest of the day in Osaka, likely to see Hozenji Yokocho, or one of the two towers (Uneda sky building or Tsutenkaku)

Day 3
– Half day trip to Kobe
– Again, likely to take train. Timing to be confirmed.
– Rest of the day in Osaka. Revisit Dotonburi or Shinsekai if wanted, or just stroll around and enjoy the sights.

Day 4
– Full day trip to Nara and Uji
– We’ll be going to Nara first, enjoy the deer for a while, and then on to Uji.
– Likely to be having lunch in Nara, and then dinner at Uji.
– Not much plans for anything at Osaka since I’m expecting we will be tired.

Day 5
– Whole day in Osaka to explore what we didnt get to see.
– We might visit Kuromon Ichiba Market, Umeda or Tsutenkaku (Whichever I didn’t see on Day 2), Shittennoji temple, Osaka castle, and maybe Solaniwa Onsen theme park.
– But we will cut down what is not interesting or what we are too tired to do

Day 6
– Early flight to Tokyo, expected to arrive around 9-10am.
– Check into our hotel, and spend the rest of the day taking in Tokyo’s sights.
– Likely to go to Tsukiji, Sensoji temple or Ameya yokocho.
– If there is time and energy, plan to visit Akihabara

Day 7
– Half day trip to Yokohama
– Spend the rest of the day in Tokyo.
– Might visit themed cafes, or do some omakase, or even Izakaya hopping.
– If we are up for it, could do some shopping in Shibuya or Ginza.

Day 8
– Half day trip to Hakone
– Spend most of the day at Hakone, but return to Tokyo in the night.
– Not much plans to do other things here, maybe just some light snacking or ramen store hopping.

Day 9
– Full Tokyo day
– Do everything we have not done.
– Omoide Yokocho, Kabukicho, Ghibli museum, Pokemon centre and Kabukicho

Day 10
– Fly back home through Haneda.
– Early flight at around 10am, so will just enjoy the last of Japan in Haneda
