Howdy folks, I have set up a small sharespace for folks to play board games and TTRPGs here in Tokyo. It has a large boardgame table that converts and has all the terrain and miniature you could want for your games.
A little about me. While this is a side business it's real just to keep the lights on and pay for itself, hence the modest rate of ¥1000 per hour for using the facility. I had been printing/painting all my stuff at home but the wife didn't appreciate the noise of the printer (don't worry its off when the space is rented out). For work, I used to work in tech in the US but I am taking the "early retirement" they gave me to try something completely different so I buy and renovate properties around Tokyo so when I found this small office (its just shy of 20m2) for a steal I figured I would set it up as a hobby space for myself and friends to use. I know how much of a pain it can be to haul hobby stuff around on the train so there are also lockers available on site that can be rented if you want a secure place to keep your stuff there. I also take requests for 3d printing if you want anything specific printed out, I ask that you just pay for time/materials.
If you have an interest in DnD or boardgames, you can DM me here or on Instagram to ask about availability, but Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights all have standing bookings but occasionally spots open of for players to join the campaigns.
