I am applying for the spring semester of university in Japan and wanted to know how the reputation of TIU is? I saw a few posts from a few years ago saying that its reputation was a "pay tuition = degree" and nothing beyond that and wanted to know if that's still the case to this day? I saw they built a new campus right next door to the Sunshine Aquarium (yes that's how I remember where it is lol) and so wanted to see if it's gotten better as their standard deviation is still around 35.
This is a second part but I also applied to APU for their fall and didn't get in, I believe this to be because of not doing my interview to the best of my ability and worse grades (for that time) and so re-applying with better knowledge this time. Is it worth just only applying to APU and not at all TIU? And is there any other E-track programs that y'all recomend? I have researched Waseda, Sophia, and Keio but their time frames won't be for spring (and are pretty expensive to apply)
I want to go mainly for the experience of learning abroad and new perspective (as being a US citizen is not is currently) . I have done a Complete 35 page independent research (which as far as I have seen is really good for applications) and am about to graduate with 3 degrees / AA's ./I always worry of whether or not I have done enough to compete in those highly completive schools like Sophia so if TIU is not it lmk any other universities I may have a shot at ! (Applying for anything Business/Economics related.)
