大東建託 Daito Kentaku Change of Lessee

Hi, I know I could just call them or Eheya but just wanted to see if anybody had the same experience with me and was successful to negotiate.

We are renting an apartment through Eheya. The contract is under my fiancé but me and our son are both registered resident in this apartment.

Now, my company will be paying some of my house rent if the contract is under my name.

If we ask Eheya/Daito Kentaku to change the contractor/lessee, do we have to pay AGAIN for things such as:

• Cleaning fee クリーニング費
• Fire extinguisher equipment cost 消火用具費
• Antibacterial Installation cost 抗菌施工費
• Disaster Prevention cost 防災セット費
• Key cost 鍵セット費

Or were you able to negotiate to have them waived since you didn’t vacate the house, just change the contractor/lessee’s name.
