Anyone who got experience with Cultural Activities Visa ? I need help

Hello, did anyone here got a previous experience with the Cultural Activities Visa in Japan ?

I have a hard time finding a sponsor who doesn't ask for a crazy expensive tuition (i've seen some schools asking about 850 000 yen for just 1 year). I was interested to learn about several traditionnal arts / practices, for different reasions calligraphy/shodo to ceramics and playing traditionnal instruments or martial arts.

They are either only schools or independant but they seem afraid to enroll foreigners. What was your experience finding a sponsor ? or if you didn't do it, did you know people who did a cultural activities visa please ?
