I wanted to buy one for passing exams and I know for sure I could get them for as cheap as 500 yen in the past. Now wherever I go (including small shrines away from the touristic areas) everything is 700 yen and up. Do I just have bad luck or is that a general trend?
(if it is a general trend does anyone know any shrines where I could still get them for 500-600 yen? I promised my friends I'll bring them an omamori as a gift when I get back from student exchange in August and that price difference is going to hurt when I'll be buying in a bulk)
