I’ll be in Tokyo next month and want to book a high-end men’s grooming experience: haircut, beard trim, shave/cleanup, head spa, massage, etc.
Early contenders are Hiro Ginza, The Barber Tokyo, Men’s Grooming Salon, and Wolfman Barber.
My hesitation: I usually get a modern fade and I have a fairly heavy beard. I’ve read that some of the more high-end/classic salons are better for traditional business cuts and may not be great with fades or beard shaping.
Has anyone here had experience at any of these places, especially for fades and beard trims? I’m trying to find the best balance between a sharp modern cut/beard cleanup and the full Japanese grooming/head-spa experience.
Appreciate any recommendations/guidance.
