I applied for the Business Manager visa after registering my own company last year. The application has been pending for the past eight months. Now I received a letter from Immigration last Friday asking me to come to the Immigration office by xx, so they could let me know about my application’s results.
I want to know what could be the reason for this instead of the usual postcard, am I rejected. If anyone has experience with this could you share your thoughts, I’m kinda freaking out.
I was on the Engineer/Humanities visa before, I have around 2.5 years left on that.
Edit: They asked for additional information a month ago, which I replied to.
If I’m denied the status change will I be able to stay in Japan on my old visa?
