Zombie mode for a few months due to insomnia

So I called off work today because I think I will fall off the platform if I tried to even leave the house. I have been taking magnesium glycinate, drewell, even sleeping pills but they only make me groggy but don’t help me sleep or feel rested.

The only thing that helped me so far was alprazolam and I’m scared of becoming a dependent or what my dad would say, “an addict.” I only take 1/4 a pill every week. So when it wears off after 2 days, I’m back to normal sleeplessness and have to resist until the next week because I want to avoid dependency.

Can someone please help or advise what you did? Maybe some dhc stuff from matsukiyo? I don’t know how much longer I can last… i have been seeing a doctor as well for it and the most he does is give me sleeping pills that don’t work and alprazolam if I’m desperate.

Edit: I tried hypnotherapy once and I was terrified because it had such a strong effect on me (and I found out I was highly suggestible). Has anyone tried it for insomnia?
