
Hello! I’ve never met a nigiri that I didn’t like until now, and I would like to know what it is! I got the ten piece nigiri sampler from Miyake in Portland, Maine, USA last week. I did not like the nigiri that was the fourth from the left.
The fish was definitely fresh and I loved my experience at Miyake overall, but I could not stand that one nigiri. It was a grayish-green fish with a sort of grainy texture and herbal taste. Any thoughts so that I can avoid in the future?
