Are there many dual nationals who do JET?

Like the title says, I'm curious because I'm a dual national myself and I understand JETs are often meant to represent a particular area. Because my life has been very split 45/45/10 (Nationality 1/Nationality 2/Japan), I'm in a weird spot of not fully representing any specific area. I am well spoken with a mostly-Nationality 2 accent (with some very specific sounds and words that never changed from Nationality 1 accent and dialect.)

I applied through Nationality 2 as that is where my current family home is. I'm also very rural in my hometown for both nationalities and included both when I applied.

So, I'm wondering if any current or past JETs with dual nationalities had any unique experiences as a result. Did you speak about both of your cultures? Did you teach students any words that were different if you speak multiple English dialects?

Any current or past JETs out there with inconsistent or unusual accents?

Also, to anyone else awaiting results, good luck! ✨
