What is the difference between Fuwa Fuwa and Mofu Mofu?

I know they are both said in a description or exclamation of something fluffy like a tail, so how are they used different?

Some examples of when each should be used would also be very helpful

  1. They are not so different, but Mofu Mofu is not used for Foods. I can’t explain how different between Fuwa Fuwa and Mofu Mofu even I’m Japanese lol

Please ask me if you want example !

  2. Mofu is for touch and stuff that’s soft with like feathers.

Fuwa is soft and spongy. I see this used with food.

  3. Mofu mofu is only used with things that are hairy/furry/fuzzy as far as I know. Usually animals, blankets, etc. so soft and fuzzy.

Fuwa fuwa is soft and plump (?) I get more of an ‘airy’ feeling with it.

  4. As other commenters have said mofu mofu is not used for food. Fuwa fuwa is used for food. Think ‘light and fluffy’ as in pancakes and cakes. Mofu mofu is for things, like sweaters, blankets, animals, clothes etc.
