I buy contacts at the Optical Department at AEON by just bringing the empty box (mine’s Alcon daily) that shows the stats (pwr / dia). Never had a script in Japan, and they never ask. Just have to sign a note that if they don’t work, it’s on you.
JINS has contacts now that you can buy online without a prescription.
My friend used to buy in Don Quijote. They have lots of non-graded contact lens. No prescription needed.

Amazon for online. Donki sold them to me as well. You just need to fill out a form saying that they’re not providing a medical service and you’re not gonna sue or something like that.
