I love Japanese goma wakame seaweed salad- the bright green kind you can get from a lot of sushi places in the West (pic here https://www.grocery.coop/recipes/wakame-sesame-salad-with-pickled-onion-garnish ).
All the recipes I can find call for dried wakame seaweed. However, all the dried wakame I can find seems to be a thicker leaf, whereas this salad is always made with thin stands of seaweed that I can’t find anywhere!
