My kid wanted this buy this because it had pikachu on it. I know ochazuke is usually made with tea, but I know my kid will not like that. What else can I use??

If your kids are ok with fishy flavours, it’s typically made with dashi too. Could mask the fishy-ness with vegetable stock as well or just make it with vegetable stock and something like soy sauce. It’s not really eaten that way, but kids won’t care, they probably just want it to be loosely “Japanese”. So go wild.
Those are ready made mixes, your just put it on cooked rice and poor hot water over it. Done.
You can use any hot liquid. Dashi is common, plain hot water is fine.
You could use chicken or beef stock if your kids like that too (but not traditional).
If soupy rice is too big a leap for your kid, you can use it as furikake. Just pick out the pikachu faces first and set them aside. The rest of the mixture you can stir into hot rice (or shape into onigiri or onigirazu) or add into beaten egg to season an omelet. It can even be added to popcorn.
The cute faces will reconstitute in some hot water. Add them as they are to any soup or stew, or let them soak in boiled water for a minute then drain and lay the faces gently on whatever the kid wants to eat.
Honestly they’re a lot more salt flavored than tea flavored. Let him try it.
This likely has soup base in it already.
Green tea in ochazuke is likely the mildest flavor.
