Hello, I’m really hoping someone here can help me. If not, I’d appreciate any guidance on where I might be able to post this instead.
I’ve tried Googling, but I wasn’t sure if I was finding the same candy, so I’m turning to this community for help.
Some background: My best friend died by suicide almost two years ago. It’s been incredibly hard, but I recently found the strength to go through some of his things in preparation for an upcoming memorial. Among them, I came across a couple of pieces of candy he had given me. There was other different pieces too, but the wrapper was badly damaged and it had melted, so I had to throw those away.
He had traveled to Japan a few years back and brought me a bunch of things, including this candy. He told me it was amazing and really wanted me to try it. But I (stupidly) said I wouldn’t eat it because it was from Japan and I wanted to save it. Now, I deeply regret that decision and I guess I'm trying to fix it.
I can’t bring myself to throw this one away too. If anyone recognizes this candy and knows where I might be able to buy it, I would be beyond grateful. It would truly mean the world to me.
