Went to Kyoto and visited the historic restaurant Hachikian. This one in Kyoto is their main store but they have a few branches outside of Kansai and in Tokyo as well. The restaurant is pretty pricey during dinner hours but they offer super affordable lunch sets which was what I tried.
Overall the food was excellent and I recommend anyone in the area to check it out. I did write a more comprehensive review on the restaurant if anyone is interested as well!
