I've tried so many brands and was hesitant when I found this box at a Japanese market in London because the spice level said HOT but it actually wasn't too spicy at all! Can't wait to try it with meat next time!

hell yeah my fav brand. this is better than golden curry imo
That’s our go-to brand in our family for decades!
Hot is just more flavorful than medium or mild. None of the many many brands I’ve tried were actually ‘spicy’ hot.
yeah, Java hot is always my pick.
My girlfriend and I did a taste test of a bunch of different boxed curries a while back and that one was our second favorite. Second only to the Vermont curry from the same brand, which I highly recommend.
Me and my husband need to do a flavor flight of these curry packs. We love Golden Hot but haven’t tried this or Vermont
Nine servings?
Wow, it looks so dark and rich. Is that just the roux in the pot, or did you add meat and veg to it?
I wonder if the taste of this is closer to a kanazawa style type of curry like Gogo curry.
Always my favourite Japanese curry. You nailed it.
According to my conversion table, Japanese “hot” is like “are you even trying?” in Thai or Indian.
What is that meat you got in it? I can’t even identify it
java curry + applesauce + ketchup is the go. i’m. telling you
I tried to bring those back to US but customs tossed it. Had traces of beef or something.
