  1. Both lol, they’re both amazing. It really depends on what kind of meal I want. Lots of fun and different flavors, or amazing quality deep flavors

  2. Thank you for your public service announcement. 📣

The Edomae sushi shown is my preference. I want to be able to taste and enjoy the fish.

  3. The presentation of “Japan” appears to be something served outside of Japan.

  4. It’s a weird comparison cause you could order the top in America too. The bottom is not what I order anyway…

  5. The one in Japan. It’s probably a 1/4 of the price. The cost of sushi in Japan vs the US has ruined sushi for me. I don’t eat it anywhere near as much after going to Japan.

  6. I wish I liked raw sushi so badly! I’ve tried it so many times. I went to Japan and I actually loved the noodle dishes and cooked meat dishes better than any sushi. But, I’m sorry, I do like US cooked sushi rolls more than authentic Japanese sushi rolls. 😭💔

  7. They are both called sushi but it’s like comparing mac and cheese vs authentic italian pasta bolognese. Somehow you must say that you like “authentic japanese sushi” if not you have no taste. Bullshit.

Japanese is if I want to try different types of fish (although you would be surprised about the weird stuff you can find in Kura Sushi), and the California rolls is if I want to see experiments with ingredients and sauces, I think my favorite was one that I ate with fried chicken topped with avocado once.

    I like both.

  8. I prefer Japan because USA always stuffs the rolls with tempura shrimp or fake crab, or some kind of teriyaki sauce, and I’m gluten intolerant so I can’t even eat half of the rolls. Give me rice and fish or some fish eggs any day of the week please.

  9. It definitely looks like you prefer the Japan because it’s plated nice and it’s in focus and then the America version looks sloppy and out of focus.

    You seem a little bias
