It’s not in Japan right? It looks so Japanese that I’m genuinely confused
I love stopping by here after work 🙂
I remember getting fugu sashimi 50% off at supermarket in kyshu last time in jp
Its a crime to leave that much food there, I’d buy me some.
There is an anime about this. People wait for the 50% off at night, then full on anime fights take place with people trying to get the best one. It’s called Ben-To.
I would go feral for this
8PM?? WhereTF do you live? Everything is 50% at 5pm here. Gotta fight the OAPs for the sashimi.
In Japan it’s at 6pm usually from my experience 🙂
I loved this. I often got off work on my Adult English Club extra duties late enough I’d drive to Maeda and snag a bunch of discount for the next day. Made my bento look fancier-and i could ask the kiddos what things were. Sure I knew what they were but it made the elementary kids I taught the next day pretty happy to teach a teacher and then i’d teach the english back
I sure wish local Kroger would put them on sale the end of the day, they used to long ago. they sure don’t lately that i find.
Nijiya?
All I can say is “Wow!”.

We’ve got one of those here but I’ve never made it through the bodies. There is a literal sea of elder Japanese ladies that swarm and they are savages! My arm made it through to a shelf once, I was so proud. I think families send them in so nobody fights them for the good stuff but they fight each other🤭 What they really seemed to go after first was the karaage and broiled salmon, all made in house probably better than any home made I’ve ever had and def cheaper.
