Any non-Japanese here who actually used the 登記情報提供サービス (Tōki Jōhō Teikyō Service)?

Hey guys, I’m Japanese but curious about this.

The Ministry of Justice says “anyone can use” the Tōki Jōhō Teikyō Service (online property registry info).

But I never see clear examples of non-Japanese people using it by themselves.

If you’re a foreign resident in Japan:

– Have you tried this service?

– Did your credit card (with 3-D Secure) work fine?

– Or did you run into issues (payment, login, etc.)?

Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks in advance!

  1. I haven’t used that one exactly but I’ve been using this similar one to get 登記事項証明書s for my company: https://www.touki-kyoutaku-online.moj.go.jp/

It works great. I simply go through the checkout process and pay with my online banking, then 2 days later, I get it in the mail – as 普通郵便 and not 書留 which is always nice.
