Almost got hit by a car driven by someone who thought a poorly lit convenience store parking lot was the perfect place to speed through.
Due to several days in the forecast at and below freezing, I had to harvest the mature jalapenos to be safe. It turned out to be many kilos of peppers, so that’s nice. Wife tied up the ones that were already red and getting softer to have dried chilis for later.
Swapped the tires to winter tires.
Played around a bit with HAM radio stuff having gotten my Japanese callsign. Turns out I need to buy something else to connect to my PC to use certain digital modes. Signed up for a certain Japanese maker’s popular digital mode protocol. Got sent my password in email in plaintext. Also limit 6-12 characters. Yeah, I’m looking for an alternative to, let’s call it, Sooyay’s exwires. The point is mostly sharing a hobby with my dad back in the US and communicating over voice that far is tricky.
Anyone here got Meshtastic working? If so, how about Meshcore?
