I have decided I will work until my bones turn to dust. No time for games.
I will pass Kanken level 2 and N1 one after the other next year.
My 4yo has finally taken a liking to me. Giving me hugs, wanting me to read bedtime stories, crying when she thought she couldn’t sit next to me, and my favourite – when Mummy asked if she had any feelings, she said she was happy. Why? Because Daddy was home.
My heart melted.
Heads up for new folks, if it needs to be screwed on or off and isn’t a regular screw, look for little notches then ram a 10yen in there to see if it fits. Brilliant

Since I moved in, I’ve had to fight for space at the bicycle parking spots in my apartment building’s because of random abandoned bicycles that have, presumably, been there since the stone age. My building finally put up a notice that they’re removing all the abandoned bicycles next Friday! Finally!
Somebody put scented fluffy soft toilet paper in a public toilet !
I am so happy self driving cars are not a thing yet. Now that light bulbs last forever, the only things I would be useful for is carrying heavy things, killing bugs and frightening the kids when the wife is mad at them. And I am not too fond of the last job.
Remembered the date of uniqlo’s annual sale in time, before they inevitably run out of the size of heattech I need. Wife wasn’t as lucky; but they stock her sizes in-store so she still has a chance.
