  1. Items from left to right, top down: cold silken tofu, eggplant agebitashi, green bean gomaae, niku dofu, aji fry, and broiled salmon.

    They will also ask if you want any of the warm dishes heated up and what size rice you want. Very comforting and delicious, not too expensive either.

  2. One of my favourite types of restaurant. I particularly enjoy them for Japanese breakfast.

  3. I’ve only been once, but you can go to university shokudo and get really affordable meals. It depends on the university if they allow outsiders.
