
With the increasing number of bear attacks in Japan and only reading about this dish in books, we’ve finally recreated the famous simmered bear paw dish which only exists in Japan today! It originates from China but has since been banned, and is only preserved in Japan as they still eat bear meat. Cooking took us about 5 hours of simmering and it was interesting to try at least once.
