This looks way better now, I started routinely watching New Japan during the G1 last year. And compared to Oiwa and Uemura he Shota felt like the most bland wrestler I’ve ever seen.
Then I watched some of his G1 2023 matches and even though he very obviously looked like Tanahashi Jr, it actually left an impression on me.
Thank goodness, always preferred the tights, they just suit him better imo
