I got shortlisted from the US but I am going to be abroad due to family complications until around the middle of May. Would it okay to have a non-US based medical professional complete my form?

Probably a question to ask your JET coordinator!
I did mine in Japan because I was studying abroad here while as an early departure candidate and it was totally fine, I think the main hurdle would be whether the doctor is comfortable filling out a form in English or not, if it’s not an English speaking country (usually not a problem tho). But I agree it’s a good idea to check in with your coordinator anyway!
