I did the nigiri-only lunch here and really enjoyed it as well although the chef is not the friendliest. I did an add-on piece of iwashi that is up there with the best bites of sushi I’ve ever had. There are a lot of negative posts on this place in /r/finedining, glad I wasn’t dissuaded by them
My experience here has been closer to the r/finedining ones (bad). He either gets distracted super easily or just doesn’t care sometimes, either of which I disliked. His shari is very enjoyable though I agree
