Planning to quit my haken factory job, would like some advice

I'm working this factory job in Osaka at the moment I don't mind the work itself but I'm changing from day shifts to night shifts every week, eg Monday tuesday night Wednesday recovery day Thursday Friday day shift etc. I got shifts that go up to 14 hours aswell which kill me.

This chaotic routine is messing with my sleep a lot so for health reasons I wanna change job but I'm not in a financial position to not be working so I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for changing job with the smallest gap between the old and new job. I know I need to secure the next job before I give in my notice with my current job but In order to secure the next job I need to know when I'll be able to start, and in order to know when I'll be able to start I'll need to tell my current employer that I want to quit and ask when I'll be laid off work, but I'm scared if I do tell them that there's a chance they'll take me off straight away and I will be in a tough position with no guarantee of work straight away. I'm not sure how laws are about these kind of things with haken jobs and contracts so if anyone knows/has experience with

  1. I know it’s not what you asked, but have you tried explaining your situation to your employer to try and get a proper schedule?

  2. you work as a dispatch worker. cant you ask if they have other companies that doesnt have those schedule?
also dont be afraid if you are laid off. if your employer paid employment insurance which is compulsory, then you can get some help for unemployment allowance which can help you financially while looking for the next job.

  3. How long have you worked hakken at this particular factory? You do know your rights as to them having to offer you sei-shain after x time working there

  4. Do food delivery until you get a better paying job. Demaecan/Uber/Menu/Rocketnow pays every week. Depends on how many hours you put in, I usually make 12-15万 a week on a moped, that’s 8 hours a day for 6 days.

  5. install Timee app, you can do one day jobs and get paid on same day. Lots of stuff on there for minimum wage.
