Headed out for a short hike. Found a perfect reading spot by a creek. Very peaceful and just what I needed.
Ya Taiwan Fes in Shiba koen, that was nice. Basically an outdoor food court.
went fishing for the second time. cought atka mackerel and flat fish.
been going mountain climbing with a friend every couple weeks in preparation for yarigatake climb end of july. the practice is for the friend, not for me. i’m practicing dealing with how slow they are walking.
this weekend was 陣馬山 again, but weather was fantastic this time and got a super clean view of Fuji.
Squirt gun fight season is officially here and is so much better now that we have a spigot in front of our house instead of having to Rube Goldberg a hose from the bath, so that was how me and the kids spent our Sunday afternoon. Saturday, me and my oldest got to go out on our road bikes for an hour or so together for the first time in a while once it cooled down a bit.
I also got the itch to fire up Doom (the 2016) version out of nowhere and basically spent my non-kid downtime doing that and having a blast with it.
Dumb Question:
Was sitting cross-legged on a stone bench in a Medium Size public park and a security guard making the rounds came up to me and pointed at my feet and said だめだよ。
Would taking off my shoes and doing this make this any more culturally acceptable or should I just cut it out?
