25 days in Okinawa, where to stay?

Hello !

I have read several topics here but not sure it applies to my trip.
I plan to come to Okinawa from early to end of october.
So i was thinking to stay like 10 days in Naha and 10 days in Ishigaki. What do you think?
I read also that Naha isn't good for going to the beach and you should book more to the north?
I mean i can book something a bit far from the station as its not a short trip.
So if you have some advices, area names… I would be very grateful ! 😄

  3. Personally I like Naha but yep – it’s not a good place at all for beaches. On the other hand it’s a access point for Karemas, which are awesome.

    In Naha I stayed at Strata Naha and this year ESTINATE. Both are nice – obviously Strata is more impressive and modern, but ESTINATE had a better vide, and as it was smaller felt more homie.

    I would suggest visiting the Miayko or Ishigaki (or both) islands if you have time – they’re really great 🙂
