I am looking for some recommendations.

Is the CASIO EX-word XD-SK2800WE a good JA-EN electronic dictionary?

  2. What’s with this site? Is there a reason why the prices on their listings are like twice what you can find on Amazon and eBay?

  3. Sorry to do a bit of a side/silly question here… But what are the benefits of using an electronic dictionary vs. google-ing things on your phone?

  4. Depending on your level, if you want an electronic dictionary, the 9800 are for japanese learning english. The 18000 or 20000 models were top of the line with more J-J dictionaries. Used models can be good values but I wouldn’t get earlier than say 2012.

    Both Apple and Android phones have excellent kanji recognition now. The Monokakido app looks great for those on iOS and with an apple computer.
