Any way to mass add audio to Anki cards?

So basically, I didn’t have my Yomichan set up correctly to add audio to cards as I added them and I never thought about it. I used an Anki addon for TTS.

Now I’ve realized that automatically grabbing the audio when you add a card *is* actually possible. I fixed it, but all of my other cards still have the TTS audio in their audio fields.

Is there a way to mass replace all of the fields with their respective audio from sources like Yomichan (which I think is mostly JapanesePod101), JapanDict, or others? I can fix it manually (as I’ve done for quite a few now) but it will take a long time. I imagine that having real audio is quite a bit better than TTS.

  1. There’s a plugin to fetch audio from Forvo, it can do batch adds on a subdeck, if I recal correctly. Some manual intervention may still be necessary.

If you can monkey with python code, you can probably find a way to pull audio in the same way Yomichan does.
