While traveling in Japan, we saw a few strawberry taiyaki and fell in love with them. Ever since coming back to the USA ive been craving for them but cant find anything similar. Ive seen recipes online for the bread part but i dont know what to put in for the strawberry filling. Ive tried ice cream and frosting but thats not quite it. Is there anything I can buy or make similar to the filling stateside?
