  1. the restaurant owner is a very old grandpa that speaks very good english and loves surfing
he told me his wife prepares the pickled food at home and he sells them at his restaurant

also lots of sake options also super cheap

fuck i wish i could eat here every day

  2. i’m crazy about the pickled stuff omg i wish we had that in the states
    japanese plum tastes INSANE

  3. Kamo cafeteria in central Kyoto serves an all-you-can-eat vegan buffet breakfast between 8:00 AM and 9:15 AM for 550 yen.

  4. Japanese pickles are quite simple to make! You should give it a shot. Also loooove silken tofu with the soy on top. So good yet so simple. Helps when the tofu is fresh too

    This is a great find

  5. May I have the name of this place? I’m trying to plan out a list of small restaurants to go to when I take the trip myself.

  6. This looks incredible. Would love to try this when I’m in Osaka! Thanks for sharing

  7. Is it vegan if it contains egg?…we all already know the answer…
