one of my favorite thing about japan are the hotel breakfast buffets…

a soup, french toast, bread pudding, pastries, salads, local cuisine… you get so much assortment that is usually pretty high in quality! this hotel even had a prepped by order omelette section and the fillings were very japanese like mentaiko or shirasu!

  1. And they often gives customers these partitioned plates. Usually in buffets the dishes mix with each other. Which means you get to enjoy your ketchup omelette mixed with some chocolate syrup that spilled from your pancakes. Meanwhile the Japanese plates are all zoned up which means all your servings don’t mix up with each other.

  2. Seemed to me in a ton of places, the only way to get breakfast before like 10am was to be at a hotel that served it.

  3. Unfortunately I can never try one of these as my food list is massive so Im always in a bakery or restaurant for my breakfast/early lunch.

  4. Did a tour of Japan over Christmas and we stayed at all these different hotels. One had unlimited Yakult as part of their buffet, another had a rice serving robot..
