I always thought Japanese pickled ginger was just meant to be eaten with sushi. I’d mix it into my soy sauce, put a bit on my sushi, dip, and enjoy. Turns out, it’s actually for cleansing the palate between different sushi. Should I keep eating it my way? im a bit ashamed
