I’m testing recipes for five grains rice (雑穀米) because my appetite has increased since I started a new medication. I cook a lot of Japanese food and decided to customise “zakkoku mai” to what I have more easily available and is also preferable for my goals. I used brown rice, konjac rice, black rice, millet and buckwheat. It was pretty good! 🍚
