Hey guys, I’m Japanese but curious about this.
The Ministry of Justice says “anyone can use” the Tōki Jōhō Teikyō Service (online property registry info).
But I never see clear examples of non-Japanese people using it by themselves.
If you’re a foreign resident in Japan:
– Have you tried this service?
– Did your credit card (with 3-D Secure) work fine?
– Or did you run into issues (payment, login, etc.)?
Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks in advance!

I haven’t used that one exactly but I’ve been using this similar one to get 登記事項証明書s for my company: https://www.touki-kyoutaku-online.moj.go.jp/
It works great. I simply go through the checkout process and pay with my online banking, then 2 days later, I get it in the mail – as 普通郵便 and not 書留 which is always nice.
Works better thank other countries’ for sure
can I ask in what cases do one use such service?
