This is a rendition of "Japanese curry rice" where the rice is cooked for another 6-8 minutes in the Curry, inexplicably combining beans and shiitake and topping it with a soy sauce marinated yolk.
I'm sure it tastes okay, but the combination of flavours is odd and I don't know what the chives are doing there (same for the egg yolk). And I imagine it to be very very mushy, also the rice somehow is cooked with salt before being cooked again in soy sauce – adulterated shiitake and green bean curry.
My main rant here being this is called Japanese by the publication despite the only Japanese thing here being the abused S&B Golden Curry (and, potentially, the shiitake although these are not a Japanese exclusive thing AFAIK).
