









Yes, this the famous Asanebo sushi you all see on social media! I’ve visited before and have had the honor of being served by the owner (and celebrity chef) Chef Tetsuya but he was not present for my recent dinner. That’s okay because all the chefs are outstanding and I was still fortunate enough to be served by one of his protégé’s Chef Hyu last night!

Nigiri Plate: this was actually my last dish and I asked Chef Hyu to choose his five favorite pieces. He served me with Uni, otoro, yellowtail, shima aji and Ono.
Individual Nigiri: Hotate (scallop), tai, Kinme, and Koji salmon (one of the best salmon you’ll ever eat)
